Nigeria’s Most Eclectic Podcast Returns for its 5th Season

Abuja FCT, Nigeria (Oct 2021)– The Young God, a thought provoking podcast that uniquely blends storytelling, music, and conversation; while answersing questions and offering insight into all aspects of Nigerian culture and the millenial human experience.   Over the last 4 seasons, executive producer and host Rodney Omeokachie  has had a diverse range of guests, well-curated conversations that hits the heart of many and is set to launch another season at The Young God Listening Party on Saturday, October 30th2021 at The Sync Hub, Kojo Motors Mabushi at 6pm.

The Young God doubles down on the elements that have made the podcast so successful over the last 3 years. It has mastered the art of curating a selection of guests and conversations, telling stories that educate, entertain, and enlighten. Last season saw the likes of  Eddie Madaki (Communications Consultant), Jacqueline Suowari (Mixed Media Artist) and the late Sofia Gambino (Philanthropist) as guests. Season 5 will feature Nigerians such as Kechi Okwuchi (America’s Got Talent Contestant), George Okoro (Celebrity Photographer), The Cavemen (Award-winning musical duo), Funbi (Musician), Denola Grey (Actor & Fashion Influencer) among others.

“This podcast listening party will be the first of its kind in Nigeria. Apart from promoting the new season, It is my hope that it will give other Nigerian podcasters inspiration and motivation to stay in the game, keep creating and thinking of innovative ways to get their podcast in front of new audiences, “ says Rodney.

The event will celebrate the journey and influence The Young God has on Nigerian podcast culture while recognizing the cultural impact it has on Nigerian thinking by hearing snippets of the first 10 episodes.
